Amdur Productions – Developed marketing program designed to promote 12 juried art festivals to Chicago market festival attendees, as well as artists. Program includes strategic marketing plan, budgeting, trade and cash media planning and buying, as well as sponsorship procurement and on-site management. Creative includes broadcast and print, as well as working with web based supplier and direct marketing agency. Agency raises hundreds of thousands of dollars per year through sponsorships, as well as more than $500,000 in trade/non-cash advertising.  Festivals attract more than 600,000 attendees per year.

Lakeside Cabins Resort (Michigan) –Created marketing program to sell resort memberships including the purchase of rustic cabins and land to a varied demographic in a tri-state area. This 162 acre resortis in Harbor Country, Michigan.  Efforts have succeeded in selling more than 50 units per year, exceeding the budgeted sales forecast.  Communications include a vast advertising campaign, membership newsletters, creative campaigns, web site development and public relations.

Banner Personnel and Training Centers – Re-launched 27 year old company back into competitive staffing market.  Agency achieved 63% business growth in two years of innovative advertising, promotional and media merchandising excellence.  Created and developed plans for a new public service training division for the company.  Introduced and assisted in development of Banner Training Centers, a division of 9 locations responsible for individual and group computer and business skill training

Verizon – Developed strategic marketing partnerships for Client with emphasis on introduction of the new brand.  Visa International served to be the most lucrative partnership, providing Verizon with an upscale customer base and built-in marketing vehicles. The benefit to Visa is a partner in emerging markets.

Omnipin International – Engineered introduction of SMART CARD technology to retail merchants and end users in the Chicago market.  The two-tiered program also included introduction of the program into closed environments such as stadiums, entertainment facilities and museums.  All programs included marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing, sponsorship and sales promotion programs.

Neighborhood Inns of Chicago/Regis Hotel Corporation -Transformed neighborhood SROs into boutique hotels on the Near North Side of Chicago by focusing on three unique selling propositions; location, ambiance and price.   Increased occupancy by 40% with programs focused on tourism, the business traveler, and the neighborhood market.

Best Western Hotel Corporation - Introduced the chain to the Near North Side of Chicago, reaching 90-95% occupancy year round. 

Cushing & Company - Developed vertical marketing programs for reprographic firm, including advertising, direct marketing, promotional and positioning of new color reprographics division to traditional as well as new markets.  Agency developed internal communications initiative in order to educate satellite employees and corporate staff on capabilities and benefits of the company.

Gabriel’s Trumpet – Developed marketing plan and executed all marketing programs for this $4 million antique and collectible consignment retail business.  Developed Grand Opening plan for the newest 13,000 square foot store in the market, and consulted on web site development.

Terra Museum of American Art - Introduced American art and the boutique museum to the general public with the “Discover America” campaign. Angulo & Associates increased attendance by 40% with advertising and promotional programs.

Double Tree Hotels - Originally Guest Quarters Suite Hotel, this chain was introduced into the competitive Chicago hotel market with the unique “full service suites” positioning.   Introduced Chicago Theater On-the-Air innovative theater experience to increase awareness and traffic in the hotel.

Chicago Theaters on the Air – Agency promoted live radio theater, including many Hollywood celebrities to the Chicago stage.  Utilized subscription lists from major Chicago theaters by having those theaters perform in the series. Direct marketing and advertising programs led to sold out houses. Agency sold concept to Chicago’s WFMT for airing.

Insight Product Development – Focused on new business development.  Angulo utilized product breakthroughs to attract new Clients to this entrepreneurial product development company.
